Terms Entered in Search Tools
When you enter a name or location in a search box, that query is sent to the independent provider operating the tool. Georgia Released Inmates does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy terms govern its handling of the query.
Messages Sent to Us
If you email or submit a contact message, we keep the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share that message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Once you follow a link, the destination's own privacy policy applies. This site does not control information held by GDC, Georgia VINE, Georgia courts, BOP, ICE, or any county record custodian. Requests under the Georgia Open Records Act go to the government agency holding the record.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to recognize activity across websites and tailor advertising. That processing occurs under each partner's practices, not as part of Georgia's official custody or release-record systems.
